    • 2). Go to a local electronics store. These stores carry a wide selection of memory cards. You can also find these portable storage devices at stores such as Walmart and Target.

    • 3). Identify the type of memory card that matches the description from your user manual, either SD card, microSD or Sony.

    • 4). Look at the sizes of the memory cards. Each memory card has specific storage space, ranging anywhere from a few hundred megabytes to several gigabytes. The larger the storage space, the more pictures the card can hold and the more expensive it is. If you are planning on going on a long trip and don't want to constantly change out memory cards, it may be in your best interest to purchase a memory card with more space.
