- 1). Turn off your Xbox 360 console.
- 2). Power on the console again.
- 3). Read the error message that the console presents, and confirm that it reads "E74." Play a game with the console if it does not show an error. Proceed with the next step if it does.
- 4). Open your favorite Web browser on your computer or other Internet-capable device.
- 5). Visit the Xbox Repair website. Sign into your Windows Live account if you are not currently logged in, and complete a repair request ticket.
