Hi, I'm Holly Silva, and I've been a crafts expert for about 15 years now and today I'm going to show you how to make a Rudolph the red nosed reindeer craft out of a mason jar. So here we have a mason jar and what I did was lined it simply with a piece of brown construction paper. It just adds a fun little effect to it. And he's brown so you want to make it brown, of course. Now Rudolph would not be Rudolph without his red nose, right. Of course. So what we're going to do is cut a nice big round piece of red construction paper. And we're going to grab our double stick tape, stick it to the back there, and stick it on the front, OK. Well now that we have the brown paper inside, what we're going to do is close the mason jar. OK. So now you have a little headband right. Well what are we going to do with our headband? We're going to stick our eyeballs on it. Eyeballs that we make out of button so he's not Frosty the snowman with a button nose, he's Rudolph the red nosed reindeer with eyeballs. Now we're going to make some whites in his eyes so just grab a little piece of scrap paper, some white construction paper, or any type of white paper, you can even use lined paper, it doesn't matter because it's going to be such a small piece anyway you won't even see the lines on it. And what we're going to do is grab a tiny piece of double stick tape, just tiny, tiny, tiny, as small as you can possibly get it and stick it to front of the button. Doesn't matter if it has holes or not because we're going to cover it with the white piece of paper. And there we go. I cut it a little bit too small. That's OK. You can always go back over and cut another piece is such a small piece that we're cutting and that we're using. All right. Little piece of double stick. There to the buttons. OK. Trim off the side if you have any that's hanging over trim it off the edges. And then you're going to grab your double stick tape again, this time, it's a little bit too big this time. OK. This time putting it on the back of your buttons and line it up here. And stick it to the top. All right. And the top. And make sure you grab with your marker and draw some little pupils because he needs pupils to make him happy, right. All right right on there. He has kind eyes, he's a nice reindeer. OK. Put it a little bit off center for you so let's straighten that up. That's the beauty of double stick tape, if you feel like you made a mistake you can always fix it. There's no such thing as a mistake. Now if you need antlers, just grab another piece of brown construction paper and roll it up like so and you can use as much as you want and grab your double stick tape. And stick it to the top. There we go. Did we lose an eyeball? We lost an eyeball. Yeah double stick tape there. All right. You might even want to use some glue. Glue might work better or if you have even a hot glue gun, hot glue gun would be great. Whatever you have, make it work. I know not everyone has a hot glue gun laying around. And for being such a quick craft you don't want to have to use too much of the hot glue gun. Or take too much time. Now you just twist it, see, nothing crazy. Just twist it very simple. It's going to look nice however you do it. There you go. Now even twist these two together and give it that reindeer look. Right. And there we are. That's our Rudolph the red nosed reindeer craft from a mason jar. Happy holidays everyone, we'll see you next time.
