Choose your must see Australian destinations. Invest in a travel book or research the internet to find destinations that interest you. Keep in mind the vastness of Australia when packing, especially if you are traveling through the Outback. The Times Online states that on the Nullarbor plain, travelers may not see a service station for nearly 125 miles. Take plenty of water, a spare tire, and sunscreen for spontaneous, miniature walkabouts or trips to the beach.
