    • 1). Check the straightness of the saw with an L-square. Press one side of the L-square against the blade and the other side against the front edge of the table saw. If it is not square, access the 90-degree stop bolt underneath the blade by turning the blade angle crank until the stop bolt is visible. Loosen the stop bolt with a wrench and move the blade until it is square with the L-square. Tighten the stop bolt in place with a wrench.

    • 2). Check the 45-degree angle of the saw by placing a speed square against the blade and twisting the angle knob counterclockwise and moving it to 45 degrees. If the 45-degree setting is not exactly 45 degrees against the speed square, loosen the 45-degree stop bolt beneath the saw blade with a wrench and align the blade with the 45-degree angle of the speed square. Tighten the 45-degree stop bolt with a wrench.

    • 3). Adjust the height of the blade by turning the height-adjust hand crank below the left side of the table saw. The height of the blade should optimally be higher than the piece of wood you are cutting so that it cuts through the entire piece.

    • 4). Adjust the angle of the blade by turning the blade angle crank at the front of the saw to the desired angle.

    • 5). Adjust the stop by lifting the red lock handle and sliding the stop to the desired angle. Lower the red lock handle to lock the stop in place.
