Four Tips on How to Keep Skin Young Looking
If you are in your forties or older you probably have asked yourself that question sometime or another.
I know I have.
If this is you, keep reading for four tips on how to keep skin young looking.
First, use natural products instead of substances filled with chemicals.
You'll find chemicals are harsh on your skin, actually making your skin worse off than if you wouldn't have used anything.
A lot of them are toxic and can put you at higher risk of developing cancer.
Natural works better and is safer, so you should go that route.
Second, eat a healthy diet.
Fruits and vegetables, whole grains, these are the foods that will leave your skin glowing and young looking.
The vitamins and minerals in these will nourish your skin and keep it blemish free.
Cut way back on sweets, refined white flour and trans fats.
These are filled with calories, but are low on nourishing vitamins and minerals that give your skin the radiance it needs to remain young looking.
Third tip when checking out how to keep skin young looking is, drink at least 8 eight-ounce glasses of water a day.
More if you are exercising a lot and perspiring more than normal.
This will help eliminate toxins in your body, helping to keep your skin clear, young looking and radiant.
Fourth, as we age our body does not produce as much collagen and elastin as it did in the younger years.
These two proteins are what keep our skin smooth and free from wrinkles and fine lines.
There are ingredients on the market that will stimulate your body to produce more collagen and elastin to be used by the skin for younger looking wrinkle-free skin.
The ones I've found are CynergyTK, Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10, and Phytessence Wakame.
All of them are in products from a company in New Zealand.
Along with stimulating the growth of collagen and elastin in the skin, they moisturize the skin leaving it smooth and soft without the use of chemicals.
They also help fight the free radicals in the skin.
Find skin care products with the ingredients listed above, instead of using creams and lotions that contain collagen and elastin.
When a product says it contains collagen and elastin it is misleading.
These two substances have molecules that are too large to penetrate the top layer of the skin, so they won't do you any good by applying them topically.
You might be considering pills that contain elastin and collagen.
These are not the best choice either.
Reason being is the major organs in your body also need these proteins, so they'll take what they need first, and you won't have much, if any, left over to help your skin to stay young looking.
When you stimulate your body to produce more by applying a skin cream or lotion to the skin you will have collagen and elastin to utilize in your quest of how to keep skin young looking.
