It's never too late to get in shape after the age of 40.
Jack LaLane is over 90 years old and still works out 2 hours a day.
Ask him if he ever wanted to give up while he was 40, 50, 60, or 70 because it was too late.
People don't want to exercise or eat right until it's too late, then the consequences they are facing forces them to change their lifestyle.
While many people are led to believe that some countries are experiencing food shortages, we are literally eating ourselves to death.
Who do we blame for this? The fast food restaurants?Mom's home cooking? We can point that greasy finger at ourselves because we are responsible for what we put in our mouths.
We are what we eat.
Exercise is important to our survival.
As you read this, millions of people of the over 40 crowd are sweating on treadmills, pedaling circles around neighborhoods, grunting out sit-ups, or doing a multitude of other torturous things to get or stay in shape.
The key to feeling young after 40 and avoiding a midlife crises is to work on the outside utilizing good nutrition and exercise while working on the inside utilizing the hidden power of your mind.
Some diet programs can mess up your metabolism, especially if your over 40.
It's not always recommended that you fool with diet pills or strict low calorie diets.
Starving yourself will cause your body to panic and burn up precious muscle tissue while you store fat.
All of us go through a midlife transition, but only some of us go through a midlife crises.
We can make it to our 70s and not have to rely on a cane or depends.
The desire to question and change your life comes from the healthiest part of you.
With the proper exercise and nutrition we can and will age gracefully.
