Pine Cone Bird Feeder

• 1). Fill a freezer bag halfway with cracked corn millet and thistle or sunflower seeds. Mix both for an indulgent bird treat. Put it aside.
  
  
• 2). Tie several feet of string to a pine cone.
  
  
• 3). Pour honey onto a cookie sheet or in a pie dish. Roll a pine cone in honey, letting the excess drip off. Immediately place the pine cone in the freezer bag. Seal the bag and shake well.
  
  
• 4). Clean off the string and suspend the pine cone from a tree. You've made a treat and bird feeder in one.
  
  

Teacup Bird Feeder

• 1). Wash an unwanted teacup and saucer. Dry them thoroughly.
  
  
• 2). Drill three tiny holes on opposite ends of the saucer in a triangular pattern. Drill several drain holes at the bottom of the saucer.
  
  
• 3). Adhere the teacup to the saucer using epoxy or porcelain glue. Let it dry per manufacturer's instructions.
  
  
• 4). Cut three long pieces of fishing line, all the same length. Tie each line to one of the drilled holes in the saucer. Hang the feeder from the lines, gathering them at the ends and tying them together, then to a heavy duty hook.
  
  
• 5). Hang the teacup on a tree. Place birdseed, cracked corn millet or sunflower seeds in the dish. Watch the birds flock to your dainty feeder.
