Everyone knows that coffee contains caffeine, but the drug is also present in tea, sodas, energy drinks, diet pills, headache meds and chocolate bars.
Cutting back on caffeine can help you fight anxiety.
Some people are particularly sensitive and need to cut it out all together.
White sugar, environmental toxins, fragrances in skincare products and herbs, like ginseng, can all cause nervousness and anxiety.
It may be helpful to keep a diary.
When you feel anxious, write down your feelings, what you had to eat and what happened just before.
You may be able to identify personal triggers that started the ball rolling, so to speak.
You might not know it, but everyone feels anxious at one time or another.
People that look perfectly calm on the outside may be just as nervous as you are.
One thing that helps is to smile.
When they say that laughter is good medicine, they aren't kidding.
Think of something pleasant or funny and smile.
