When you fall in love, you would like to think it is forever. Yet, many relationships sour in a few months or years and some even break. Why? This is because you fail to recognize the factors that sabotage your relationship. All relationships are very fragile and unless nurtured carefully, they die a natural death. Here is what you should watch out for:

1. Too demanding on your partner - once you are in a relationship you expect your partner to drop everything and rush to your aid whenever you need him/ her. You expect him/ her to always give you the first priority no matter what. Be realistic; putting your wants on the back burner sometimes does not mean that he/ she doesn't love you anymore. Don't act as spoiled brat. Check out best Dating Manual for more awesome advice.

2. Too emotionally clingy - you love him your partner and that is beautiful. However, do not suffocate your partner with love. If you want him/ her to be around you all the time (out of love), to reassure every minute of the day, to respond instant to all your emotional crises, it might become wearisome in the long run.

3. Too dependent financially - it is lovely to act as one unit when you are in love and committed relationship. However, it could turn a little painful if you are always making financial demands of your partner. Lay proper and clear ground rules about money matters as early as possible in your relationship.

4. Too possessive about your partner - love is a wonderful thing. However, it should not mean you have 'all inclusive rights' on your partner. If you allow jealousy to rise its ugly head every time your partner even talks to someone of opposite gender, it would smoother your relationship.

5. Too self-centered - in relationships there is a lot of give and take; there are adjustments on minor and major issues; there are many times when your partner's opinion and feelings need to be taken into consideration. If you are too self-centered, your relationship will die.

6. Too controlling - do not attempt to control the behavior of your partner. Accept the fact that you are different in thinking, attitude and behavior. Attempting to control one another's behavior can become a major constrain in the relationship. Dating Manual.com .is a sweet resource you should check out.

7. Too bossy - a relationship is best when two equal partners commit to be together. If you attempt to behave as if your partner is the 'child' and you 'the parent' or 'boss' the relationship would soon fizzle out.
