- 1). Open your computer's Web browser and go to the BlackBerry Software Updates page at the BlackBerry website.
- 2). Click the "Check for Updates" button.-
- 3). Save the plug-in to your computer.
- 4). Run the plug-in by double-clicking the file or by clicking "Run" when your browser prompts you to run it.
- 5). Wait for the Application Loader to start, and then connect the BlackBerry Pearl 8100 using the USB data cable.
- 6). Click "Next" to begin the update.
