True Parenting is Expected to Promote Children"s Freedom
Truly caring fathers and mothers know how to grow happy and healthy children. They offer a simple life, close to the nature, and spend lots of time together. Each kid has a different combination of creative abilities and skills, which should be promoted and advanced.
In early age children need lots of love and care - they learn by playing games and asking questions. It is fun for the whole family to spend time together playing, laughing, singing until all are happy. A blissful family is a spiritual surroundings for children to grow healthy and strong.
Children grow up and become adolescents. Teenagers have already started building personal identities, that may differ from their fathers and mothers. They also create their own views, ideas, and values about life.
It is crucial, from early teenage, children to get involved in different house activities - cleaning, washing, cooking and any other work. All needs to be for fun and done with pleasure rather than duty. Mothers and fathers should help to establish a positive attitude in all children do. Step by step children will be able to take more and more duties guided by wise mothers and fathers - the more independent they turn the more freedom they win.
Later at age of 15-16 teens could get a part time job until they finish high school, then a full time occupation at age of 18. At this age they also learn to budget their money and determine priorities in life. Then they are well prepared to start their own independent living and do what they love to do.
The connection between parents and teens should be like between best friends with lots of love and care. Mothers and fathers should share with children all their experiences and knowledge, they should also offer them different alternatives and thoughts to choose from. Staying connected as children come near the teenage and become more independent, might be a challenge for fathers and mothers, but it is as crucial as ever. While activities at school, new interests, and developing social life become more important to children, parents are still the anchors, furnishing love, counseling, and protecting. This relationship creates a feeling of security and creates the balance children need to roll with life ups and downs.
Some fathers and mothers love to take full control and make all decisions themselves, neglecting the individual creativeness and desires of the kid. In such families teens very often rebel against and fight for freedom in different ways - skipping school, falling grades, tobacco, alcohol, or drug use. Some over-controlled children grow weak and dependent, not capable to make decisions on their own and take responsibilities.
The best reward for loving fathers and mothers is to see grown up children building a solid love relationship and enjoying their own happy family life.
