How Do I Remove a Scratch from a Porcelain Sink?
- 1). Spray the porcelain sink with a bathroom cleaner. Wipe the sink clean with a damp sponge, removing as much dirt inside the scratch as possible. Rinse the sink with warm water and the sponge, then dry with a soft cloth.
- 2). Wet a pumice stone and fill the sink with warm water. Rub the stone gently back and forth over the scratch. After two to three passes with the stone, inspect the scratch or feel it with your finger. If the scratch remains, continuing rubbing with the pumice stone and examine the scratch after two to three passes.
- 3). Drain the water from the sink. Rinse the sink with the sponge and warm water. Dry it with a clean cloth.
