Auction Winners Delay Investment in Roads
Five years after assuming the administration of the seven federal highways, auctioned the first concession auction of the Lula government, with bold moves and tolls minimum of $ 0.99, the companies have failed to complete all the required investments in the bidding process. A survey conducted by the state shows that, on average, almost 20% of the amount for improving the conditions of the roads in the first five years of the concession was not applied.
