How to Age Corrugated Tin
- 1). Fill a spray bottle with 2 tbsp. of table salt and 1 pt. of warm water. Shake the bottle until the salt is totally dissolved.
- 2). Set the corrugated tin object outside, if it's not already there, and keep it outside throughout the aging process. Spray the salt water solution over the areas you want to appear aged.
- 3). Wait a day, and reapply the salt solution. The metal will begin to rust. Continue to mix and apply the warm salt water solution, until the tin appears as aged as you prefer.
