- 1). Place the engine sensor to be cleaned face up on a flat surface so that the sensor wires are exposed.
- 2). Blow compressed air onto the sensor from 1-1/2 feet away to blow away any loose debris.
- 3). Spray the sensor wires thoroughly with electronic parts cleaner and reinstall the sensor immediately. Allow the sensor to dry. The electronic parts cleaner will evaporate completely, but you do not want to leave the sensor in the open air where dust or other debris may be attracted to the sensor wires.
