Did you ever experience an instructor that was so boring that you would either drift off, or be conscious but don't recall a thing that he or she lectured about? Now, then again, have you ever had an instructor that was so excited about teaching and everything that he or she said would have you paying rapt attention? Which instructor would you buy from if they were marketing an information product about how to learn the branch of knowledge that they were teaching? The more exciting instructor naturally! However, the question is why? Elementary, they transplant their energy into you and therefore, were more moving.
When you're marketing something online one of the most fatal things you can do is to cause the visitor to be bored.
If you don't remember anything else in this article remember this, folks just about never buy a product or service because they are bored.
Bored visitors are very likely to click away.
Your written material should read like a rousing speech not a monotone one.
It should get the future client excited about the product or service you are offering.
Just remember the last time you bought or obtained something that you truly desired.
Once you got it, you were most likely emotional in one way or the other.
An example of this is when a kid gets a gift that they genuinely want for Christmas.
As soon as they open that bundle they become overly excited with delight.
Which brings me to the point; you have to make your copy provoking and engage the reader.
The easiest way to do this is by using "picture" words.
Since the human mind thinks by using pictures you get to address the part of your visitor that is not naturally skeptical or even cynical.
Then by having your visitor "remember when", "think about this" or "imagine that" you can have them go to the future in their mind where their life is so good now that they have bought your product, which their life is because you sell an enriching product, don't you? So go out there and write, write to engage your readers and your writing will get results.
