Overview and Biography of Kassie DePaiva:
Kassie Wesley DePavia plays the role of Blair Cramer on One Life to Live, a character who plays a loving supportive mother to Starr and Jack Manning and stepmother for Sam Manning. Although she portrays a strong woman, she’s hasn’t had many relationships that have lasted for any great length of time.
DePavia grew up in Kentucky and was one of four children. She had a love for music. At 18 she made her solo debut at The Grand Ole Opry. Kassie studied theater at Indiana University. While attending the University of California at Los Angeles she joined the four part harmony band, Newport. She left UCLA to travel and perform with the USO throughout Asia.
Kassie DePavia got a job singing back up for Bobby Womack. Kassie has recorded three of her own albums and writes some of her own music. In 1996, she married James DePavia and had a son James Quentin, who was born deaf. Kassie Depavia also keeps busy raising money for organizations such as; The League for the Hard of Hearing, The Deafness Research Foundation and The Clark School for the Deaf.
