In recording your body changes, include measurement in inches for (neck, chest, waist, thighs, and arms. Also note changes in dress sizes and pants sizes. You can also include your weight, but inches are a better form of measurement. Weight can fluctuate with water gains and loss, adding of muscle and a womens menstrual cycle. For nutrition, record nutritional changes and the consumption of danger foods.
Keep track of your goals. Writing it down can be a reward. Or it can remind you that you are not focusing on your goals. Your accountability person or group can look at your record keeping to get a good idea of your progress and the areas you need to improve.
