Get Your Spring Wardrobe Ready With Shoe Racks
With any luck, spring will be upon us within 8 weeks or so.
For those of us living in regions of the U.
S.
A.
which received tremendous amounts of debilitating snow and ice, any type of warming trend will be welcome.
Of course, with the onset of warmer weather - not necessarily shorts weather, mind you, just warmer - may bring the necessity of swapping out clothes in your closet.
Out with the thick turtleneck sweaters, wool, and boots and in with lightweight sweater sets, Capri pants and fun footwear.
It can be a real chore to swap out those clothes.
I, myself, hate it for several reasons.
It's time I would rather be spending on something else and it stirs up dust.
I may even have to re-fold or re-hang some things.
And there's also the threat that some of my favorite spring clothes might not fit as they used to.
The closet-swapping process also reminds me of just how much I have by way of fashion and footwear.
Spring is really a good time to take stock in your entire wardrobe from shoes to jewelry and cut excess.
If you haven't worn it in two years, it needs to go out on consignment or to the local donations store.
What if you do all that and you still have more stuff than closet room? Get creative with your space by setting up some shoe racks, stackable storage bins and wire shelf separators.
Shoe racks can be a great way to organize all your spring sneakers, sandals and flip-flops.
When you see what you have in your own closet, it can help curb the urge to go buy something new.
Hanging shoe racks are also a great way to store folded items like athletic wear (necessary in order to get those Capri pants to fit!) and spring hats and scarves.
