How to Make a Car Out of Recylables

1). Paint the outside of a shoe box using acrylic paint to resemble the outside of a car. Be sure to include the lights, windows and wheel wells. Allow the paint to dry.
2). Place a hot glue stick into the hot glue gun, and plug the gun into an outlet to heat up for about five minutes.
3). Cut four aluminum cans in half using a box cutter, and discard the halves that contain the tab.
4). Squeeze a line of hot glue around the sharp edges of the aluminum cans.
5). Press the glued edge of each can onto the corners of the shoe box, one per corner, to look like tires. Hold the cans in place until the hot glue cools.
6). Paint the aluminum cans with black acrylic paint to look more like tires. Allow the paint to dry before playing with the car.
