There are many historical sites worth visiting in the United Kingdom (UK), yet there is little doubt in my mind that Bath was the most interesting one of all.
I had been keen to visit Bath since I had read, and seen images of it on television which sparked my desire to travel and see the area for myself.
When I saw the Roman Bath House I knew I'd made the right decision to visit it.
It was so real that it was easy to imagine people through the ages bathing for any number of reasons.
The remains were intact to the extent that I was tempted to jump in and enjoy the water.
The general surroundings of the baths were authentic as though time had stopped permanently in that house as it stood still.
While the baths were exciting, the rest of the building proved to be a great place to explore.
There were any number of paths to which tourists could choose to follow.
It may seem impossible, yet there are many things which people from all over the world can discover for themselves.
I remembered thinking that Jane Austin's description of Bath was fairly accurate, although I can honestly say that even she didn't do it justice.
Bath has so much to offer any one who is looking fror adventure and wants to see something which is a bit different.
In conclusion I would highly recommend a visit to Bath, particularly for those people who like to explore and are interested in historical sites.
