Network Marketing, Real Job Satisfaction

USA Today published a survey in their January 6, 2010 edition stating that only 45% of Americans enjoyed real job satisfaction.
Some of the reasons that were listed for this lack of satisfaction were the following: -The work was no longer interesting; -Wages had not kept up with inflation; -Health care costs increasingly cut into their take home pay; You may have seen the saying on a bumper sticker, "My take-home pay won't even take me home.
" More and more Americans really feel this way.
In our current depressed economic state, these are the ones who are lucky enough to have a job.
With the upcoming changes in health care, everyone will see their costs for healthcare costs increase and will likely not receive a salary increase as employers struggle to keep their employee costs from rising too high.
Another reason employees gave for their dissatisfaction was they felt that management did not listen to their input and they felt they had very little control over their current job conditions.
Individuals who are self-employed generally experience a higher level of job satisfaction as they have some actual control over their working environment and the decisions that they make actually affect their business.
The complaint that you generally hear from small business owners is that they can't take a vacation as their productivity will suffer or they can't find employees who care about seeing the business succeed as much as the owner.
One job/business where this is not the case is network marketing.
Individual who succeed and make it to the top and many do experience a high level of job satisfaction.
They are in control of their time.
They can determine how much their income is based upon their own sales activity.
Yes, they do make percentages off of those in their downline but if they are in activity, then their downline will do the same and their business will grow almost overnight.
Another reason for their high level of satisfaction is the fact that not only are they making a great income but they also have the time to actually enjoy that income with their family.
They also experience great personal satisfaction by helping others reach their goals in network marketing.
This is not possible in any other job because in corporate America if you teach your subordinate too much, they will eventually take your job.
The downside to network marketing is that it is difficult to build a business primarily because you have to grow yourself as well as growing your business.
However, if you are committed to the process and will not quit before you reach the top then you will enjoy a high level of life satisfaction.
