There is an infinite amount of pleasure for the individual, others and the wider society that can be derived from art, drawing, painting and being creative yet so many of us exclude ourselves from these activities.
Did you know that every single person is creative and in the same token we are all able to draw or paint, act or write, even those of us without hands or arms are capable of these activities I have seen them and probably you have as well.
So besides the fact that not everybody wants to do these things there are I believe many who do but don't and yet others who do thinking they are good at it but aren't.
Well the interesting point in this is the fact that in the greater majority of cases we are our own problem really.
Despite the fact that those who have power will always want to keep it for themselves and will often do anything at any cost to do so the bigger problem is we still dis-empower ourselves and exclude ourselves from pleasures we could benefit from greatly.
I specifically refer to drawing and painting because I am very good at these things but there are so many other pleasurable activities that fall under the umbrella term of art or arts.
There is music, poetry, writing, story telling and many other examples I could give that we all do all the time but don't realize.
Did you know we are all actors in our own lives and we act differently in different circumstance? For example if you was unfortunate enough to be standing in front of a judge for a crime that you committed wouldn't you do your best to act responsible, remorseful or guilty depending on how you felt about yourself? Isn't that a form of acting even if you consider it to be acting normal? You see we are all capable we just don't think we are.
