Clearing Dodge Truck Codes

• 1). Locate the diagnostic scanner port. It will be located inside the cab, underneath the dash on the driver's side of the vehicle.
  
  
• 2). Insert the diagnostic code scanner's cable into the diagnostic port on your vehicle.
  
  
• 3). Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the run position. Do not start the engine.
  
  
• 4). Using the instructions provided with the diagnostic code scanner, have the scanner search the engine computer for trouble codes.
  
  
• 5). When the scanner is finished, Press the button on the scanner labeled "clear trouble codes".
  
  
• 6). Disconnect the diagnostic code scanner from the vehicle.
