- 1). Loosen the end cap screws on the exhaust megaphone using a 3/16-inch Allen socket and a socket wrench. Facing the exhaust from the rear of the motorcycle, the end cap screws are located at six o'clock and nine o'clock, about 1/2 inch from the surface of the end cap.
- 2). Remove the end cap. Save the end cap and end cap screws.
- 3). Locate the rearmost Allen screw on the bottom of the exhaust megaphone. Loosen the screw with a 3/16-inch Allen socket and a socket wrench.
- 4). Remove and replace the clearly visible baffle from just inside the rear of the exhaust megaphone.
- 5). Insert the baffle screw in the bottom of the baffle screw hole on the bottom of the megaphone. Simultaneously turn the baffle and the baffle screw until the baffle screw catches in the baffle screw hole.
- 6). Tighten the baffle screw to 129 inch-pounds of torque using a 3/16-inch Allen socket and a torque wrench.
- 7). Replace the end cap and tighten the two end cap screws with a 3/16-inch Allen socket and a socket wrench.
