- 1). Sew or paint a pattern, symbol, or short saying onto one or more of the sails on your sailboat. If you are racing boats, this is especially important so that onlookers can identify you among the competitors.
- 2). Add some furnishings to the inside of your boat.
Be careful not to bring anything that you value highly, as turbulent waters can cause things to fall and break. Hang some of your own drawings or artwork, or things that your kids have made. Make a collage on a wall of the cabin using some family pictures and glue sticks. - 3). Decorate your boat for the holidays.
Add colored lights, posters, flares, banners, and more. Use simple office tape so that whatever you put up can be quickly and easily removed when you are finished partying.
