Tablet form of this drug comes in 2,4 and 8 mg strength. Syrup form of 5 ml consists of 2 mg strength. Tablet for oral inhalation (in dry powder form) of this drug comes in 200 microgram strength. It is also available in injection form which contains strength of 50 microgram whereas nebulizer solution comes in 5 mg strength.
This medication is only allowed for those patients who have been prescribed by the doctor and therefore not even by mistake it should be inhaled by other people. After a patient starts this medication, the treatment should not be stopped unless been mentioned by the doctor. Cautious approach is required in a patient who has medical history that doesn't make Salbutamol drug fully suitable; especially in those people who have heart disorders, low concentration of potassium in blood, allergic reaction, diabetes, seizure, and high blood pressure problems. It has been advised that an individual should avoid driving the car for safety reason because intake of this medicine may cause drowsiness. Alcohol addicted people or women who pregnant or breastfeeding their child must not attempt to take its treatment unless asking the doctor.
