- 1). Mix 1 gallon of vinegar with 1 cup of soap. Make more or less depending on your needs, but preserve the ratio of vinegar to soap.
- 2). Saturate the affected area with the solution. If the odor is on your lawn, pour the solution into a garden sprayer and saturate your yard. When washing your clothes, pets and human skin, scrub thoroughly for five minutes to make sure the solution soaks completely into hair, skin or fabric.
- 3). Rinse the affected area thoroughly with cold water.
