How to Add Solar Panels to an Existing System

1). Turn off the power supply to your solar power system.
2). Verify that there is ample space on your roof for a new solar panel by measuring the roof using the tape measure.
3). Secure the support brackets for the solar panel to the roof by following the manufacturer's instructions.
4). Set the new solar panel onto the brackets and secure it into place.
5). Attach an electrical wire from the "Positive" or terminal on an existing panel to the "Positive" terminal on the new panel. Attach the wires with the screwdriver.
6). Run another electrical wire from the "Negative" terminal on the same panel to the "Negative" terminal on the new panel. Attach the wires with the screwdriver.
7). Turn the power supply for the solar power system back on.
