How to Convert SRT Captions
- 1). Download a free copy of Srt2Sup to convert your .SRT subtitles (see Resources). Install Srt2Sup, then launch the program.
- 2). Click on the program's "SRT File" heading. Select "Open as Text" from the menu that appears beneath the heading.
- 3). Locate the SRT file you'd like to convert, using the file explorer window that appears. Click "OK" in the "Open SRT file as Text" dialog box that pops up.
- 4). Select the "Save" option from the "S2S" heading to convert your subtitles into the "S2S" format. For SUP conversion, select the "SUP File" heading's "Save" option. After a few seconds, the converted file will be sent to source SRT file's folder.
- 1). Convert your SRT captions using a free copy of SRT to SSA Converter (see Resources). Download the program, then launch it.
- 2). Click the "Browse" button next to the program's "Input file" field. Browse for your SRT file, using the file explorer window that appears. Click on the field's "Browse" button to select an output folder for your converted captions.
- 3). Click on SRT to SSA Converter's "Convert" button to begin the conversion process.
- 1). Download a free copy of Srt2Smi to convert your subtitles into the SMI format (see Resources). Launch Srt2Smi.
- 2). Click on the bubble next to the desired output language for your subtitles. You can select Korean or English.
- 3). Click on Srt2Smi's "Open and Convert and Save" button. Select the desired SRT file, using the file explorer window that appears. After selecting the SRT file, Srt2Smi will convert the file into SMI format and store it next to the original.
