Measure 1 cup of potato flakes and pour into a glass jar. Add 2 tbsp. of Paulownia seeds in the glass jar. Place lid on jar and shake for three to four minutes to mix thoroughly . - 2

Remove the plastic covers from the seed trays. Spray the peat moss pellets thoroughly with water from spray bottle. They should be wet to the touch. Place 1 tsp. of the potato flake and seed mixture onto each peat moss pellet. - 3

Spray the potato flake and seed mixture thoroughly with water until it is wet to the touch. The water will help provide humidity for the seeds. Spray seeds daily for the next two weeks, twice daily in hot weather. - 4

Cover the seed trays with the see-through plastic covers. Keep the cover on the seeds for the next two weeks when they are not being watered. Use fluorescent lights to keep the room between 70 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Check the room temperature daily using a thermometer. - 5

Keep the cover closed on the seed trays when not watering for the first two weeks, then open the air vents for ventilation as your seedlings begin to sprout. Leave the seedlings in the seed trays for at least four weeks, then they can be transferred to small peat moss pots.
