- 1). Run the clothing article under hot water on both sides until the water runs clear.
- 2). Rub 3 to 4 drops of dish soap on the stain with your fingertips for small spots and 5 to 6 drops for larger stains. Make sure you are rubbing both sides of the fabric with your fingertips.
- 3). Rinse in the hot water again until the water is free of color and soap bubbles.
- 4). Spray stain remover on the fabric for any leftover paint. Rub the fabric together and let sit for 10 minutes.
- 5). Spray again, rub the fabric together again. Launder as usual.
