Tip #1 The first mistake that I see astral travel beginners make is that they attempt to astral project before bedtime.

A tip that you can try is to drink a little water before bedtime.
Your body will naturally wake you up about a hour to two hours before you normally wake up.

Tip #2 The second mistake that I see astral travel newbies make is that jump around from one astral travel method to another.
Find a system that you like which may include the method in Robert Bruce's book Astral Dynamics or possibly one of Robert Monroe's phasing methods.
As you begin to master a method move onto another method or create a new one.
Tip #3 The third mistake that I see newbies make is a lack of consistency.
To get good at astral travel you must dedicate yourself and learn the proper skills.
The most important skills to master are physical relaxation and taming the mind.
Each day dedicate yourself to getting better at having out of body experiences.
It also helps to write out affirmations and to recite them daily.
The more you do this the more you will take the right action that is needed to become good as O.
