- 1). Point your web browser toward your favorite online discount garden seed merchant. See Resources for several options--stores that offer straight discounts off high-quality packaged seeds, or lower prices for bulk orders.

Sort through your buying options just as you would sort through them at full price; click on each variety of seed you're interested in, read the buyer's information and decide whether you can offer the sort of sun, soil and spacing that particular plant needs. Stick with tried and true varieties that you've used in your garden or that others report grow well in your area, if possible.
- 3). Click the "add to cart" button to select seeds for purchase. You can keep adding things to your virtual shopping cart until you're ready to purchase, but don't leave the website until you've actually made the purchase; some websites will remember your computer and retrieve your cart information if you navigate away and then return later, but some will not.
- 4). Select "View Cart" once you've finished shopping and are ready to check out. Select your desired shipping method--each merchant offers a variety of options. Be prepared to enter credit card information, a shipping address and contact information as you complete the purchase process. Some merchants may also accept online payment methods like PayPal, or offer you a chance to deduct payment directly from your checking account.
