How to Make a Halloween Necklace
- 1). Draw a shape on to the fun foam of the Halloween necklace you would like to make. Orange foam can be a pumpkin necklace, black foam can be a bat or witch hat necklace, and green foam can be a monster face necklace. Sketch the shape with pencil so you can erase them if you make a mistake.
- 2). Cut the foam shape out with scissors.
- 3). Decorate the foam shape with sequins, rhinestones and glitter. Use craft glue to adhere the embellishments to the foam shape. Rhinestones make good bat eyes or pumpkin eyes, and sequins can line the bottom of a witch's hat. Glitter makes a monster head shimmer.
- 4). Poke a hole in the top of your foam shape using either a hole punch or a small craft knife. Make two holes 1/2 inch away from each other in order to string your necklace to lie flat against your body.
- 5). String some jewelry cord or pretty string through the holes and and tie the necklace around your neck. Make the necklace loose enough to be pulled over your head, or the knot loose enough to untie it easily to take it off.
