How Do You Choose A Perfect Personalized Sticky Notes Pad For Your Project?
Review, with staff, what you hope to achieve with your project, and how you are going to distribute the pads, or individual sheets.
Also, determine what message and images will be printed on each sheet.
2.
Decide, realistically, how much you have budgeted for your project, and what portion of that budget is to be spent on the personalized sticky notes pads alone.
It is important to note that pads are typically produced with 25, 50, or 100 sheets per pad, and in multiples of 500 pads.
3.
Based upon your budget, decide how many pads you need for your project.
The best pricing is for orders of 500 pads, or more.
4.
Decide what shaped pad you want.
Rectangular pads are the most common, easy to produce and consequently, the most cost-effective.
If you would like stock shaped personalized sticky notes pads, say in the shape of a circle, house or even a pig, they are available for slightly more expense.
Custom shapes are also available, within engineering limitations, at a premium price.
5.
Decide what sized pad you'd like.
Standard sizes are always less expensive.
Most popular sizes are 3" x 3", 4" x 3" and 4" x 6".
Custom sizes can be produced, on orders of 500 or more pads, but it is always more cost-effective to select a standard size.
6.
Decide whether a standard adhesive on the back of each sheet will work, or if a more aggressive adhesive is needed.
If the pads will be handed out for general use, then a standard adhesive is your best choice.
If the sheets are to be applied to any special surfaces, then you should discuss this with your personalized sticky notes consultant.
It may be appropriate to select a "super sticky" adhesive.
7.
Decide what paper color you'd like for the pads.
White is the standard, and is almost always less expensive than a colored paper.
Pastel colors are slightly more expensive, and bright colors even more so.
White paper is best for full color printing, as it provides the most vibrant colors.
8.
Finally, pick the imprint colors you'd like printed.
The choices are 4 color process (full color) and spot color (PMS inks) printing.
If specific PMS (Pantone Matching System) inks are required by your marketing department, the choice has been made for you.
If PMS inks are not required, then 4 color process printing may produce satisfactory results.
PMS inks are printing industry standard inks, but generally are more costly to use than 4 color process printing.
Your personalized sticky notes consultant can help you decide what printing process and ink colors are best for your project.
