Spamalot - Penny Stock Style

StockPatrol.com is pleased to introduce a new feature. Many times, we have referred to spam e-mails promoting tiny public companies. Generally, those companies share a common thread - an undistinguished past, an uncertain future, and no legitimate reason for optimism. Some of the spam campaigns are particularly aggressive; dozens of message arrive in our emailbox or fax machine, each from a different, unidentifiable source, touting the same obscure company.

From time to time we will share with you some of the more aggressive spam campaigns that come our way. Now, we do not suppose that we see all of the promotional spam floating around, but we manage to get a fair share, by design or happenstance. As in the past, in some instances we will provide an in-depth report on the company that is being promoted. On other occasions, however, we will simply let readers know where the touts are focusing, and perhaps raise a few pertinent questions.

We begin with a company called Alliance Enterprise Corporation (Pink Sheets: AETR). Over the past several days the Company has been the subject of a vigorous email campaign. We have seen a dozen or more of these messages, each from a different €sender€ - but all spouting the same spiel. Like others of their ilk, these emails predict €Here comes the Big One,€ and predict that €all signs show that AETR is going to explode!€

Which is an interesting choice of phrase, considering that Alliance Enterprises says it is developing technologies to help detect landmines. The Company has an ambitious plan. Alliance Enterprises wants to be €the recognized leader in providing Aerial Detection Systems including global de-mining, clearing a path to a safer planet for all humankind.€ The Company plans to use an aerial system, called the Landmine Locator, to find mines around the globe.

The current state of the Company's operations remain a mystery, despite the enthusiastic spam. Alliance Enterprises does not file public reports or financial statements with the SEC or through Pink Sheets. The Company says - on its website - that it plans to raise $29 million - the first $14 million, to be raised in a private placement would be used to finance the €first 15 field units.€ The Company is prepared to license its technology to potential partners willing to seek and destroy landmines in areas that include Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan.

Getting rid of land mines is a good thing. But can this Company deliver? The viability of the Company's product and plan appears to be purely speculative at present, as does its ability to raise the funds needed to get its business of the ground - literally and figuratively. That does not discourage the spammer(s), who offers these further thoughts:

The Examples Above Show The Awesome, Earning Potential of Little Known
Companies That Explode Onto Investor's Radar Screens; Many of You Are
Already Familiar with This. Is AETR Poised and Positioned to Do that For
You? Then You May Feel the Time Has Come to Act... And Please Watch
this One Trade tomorrow! Go AETR.
