- 1). Spread cat litter over the antifreeze immediately.
- 2). Continue to apply the cat litter until it stops soaking up the antifreeze. If you exhaust one application, quickly replace it with another.
- 3). Prepare a bucket of warm, soapy water. Then use a towel to scrub the area until there is no visible trace or odor of antifreeze left.
- 4). Take the antifreeze-soaked cat litter, towels and used water to a facility equipped to dispose of antifreeze.
