- 1). Select the sound recorder software that you wish to download. If you have not done so yet, download the software you wish to use or insert the disc containing the software in question.
- 2). Double-click the icon on your computer that represents the software you wish to install. If using a disc, wait for the splash screen to appear on your desktop and click "Install."
- 3). Follow the instructions given by the software. Check the box or otherwise agree to the terms and conditions that are standard with most recording software. When finally prompted, click "Install."
- 4). Allow the software between two and five minutes to install the software to your machine. Once complete, finish the installation by restarting your computer.
