Tracks I Don't Love but Don't Necessarily Hate Track 10: I Need You - I honestly did not like this song at all when I first heard it and didn't like it for a long time but then it grew on me.
The beat sounds off.
It sounds disjointed and all over the place.
Track 11: Where Do We Go From Here - I don't know why exactly I don't love this song.
I just feel she has better songs out there.
When I listen to the album I usually skip this one.
Track 13: Where Do We Go From Here - The lyrics to this song are amazing and very heartfelt and you get a look into what she was going through with the loss of someone very close to her.
I just don't love the music that's accompanying the lyrics.
Could of been a little different.
But I still like the song and listen to it every once in a while.
Overall Review I think "As I Am" is an excellent album.
It definitely shows a lot of growth.
I love that Alicia finally decided to branch out and work with other people.
In the beginning she always had to do everything herself she said.
She was afraid to let people into her world.
I'm glad she let people into her world because it produced great music and it gave her an opportunity to experiment with new sounds and ideas that she wouldn't have come up with herself.
I rate the album: 4 1/2 stars out of 5.
Top 3 songs I recommend: Superwoman, Like You'll Never See Me Again, and Lesson Learned
