How to Clean a Mirror With Wood Decor
- 1). Crumple up a sheet of newspaper. Newspaper cleans a mirror effectively as opposed to a rag because it is less likely to leave streaks behind.
- 2). Spray a fine mist of window cleaner over the surface of the mirror. Avoid spraying the wood parts of the mirror.
- 3). Apply the crumpled newspaper firmly to the mirror and wipe from the top to the bottom from one end of the mirror to the other. Do not make circular scrubbing motions or side-to-side motions because these will leave streaks on the mirror. Discard the newspaper.
- 4). Squirt a dime-sized amount of wood-furniture polish to the rag you are using. Use a soft, clean rag of cotton linen.
- 5). Apply the polish rag to the surface of the wood decor parts of the mirror. Buff the wood with the rag in one direction. This removes dust particles and polishes the wood to give it a clean, attractive shine.
