Good Breakfast Starts Your Day

Nowadays, many of us will start our day with only a cup of coffee.
However, after some times, we will find that we cannot focus well in our jobs and our ability to judge is compromised.
And some of us maybe even start to have gastric issue.
We always assume that coffee will help to increase our concentration.
Why are we still facing these problems? What is wrong then? Through many researches, we know that we are highly relying on protein and carbohydrate to improve our brain activity.
By increasing the brain activity, we can be more focus and sensitive.
Coffee will help on this for just a little while.
After 8 hours of sleep, the body is lack of nutrition.
If we are to skip our breakfast, we are cutting off the supply of carbohydrate or protein supply to our bodies especially our brains.
This will definitely affect our concentration and emotions.
And hence affect our efficiency in studies or works.
Besides, our bodies will lower the metabolism rate to reserve whatever energy we have.
With lower metabolism rate, we are unable to burn fat in our bodies.
On the contrary, our bodies will tend to absorb and keep whatever food that we eat later.
Instead of losing weight, we gain more.
Now we know the importance of breakfast but we shall also eat the right food.
Maybe some of you will think that since we need so much nutrition in the morning maybe we can eat some heavy meal.
Sorry to say this is an incorrect concept.
We should eat good food but not heavy food.
As we know that after a long night, our bodies will tend to absorb the nutritious as much as we can.
If we are to eat food with high fat content especially trans-fat, our bodies will absorb it all.
And with lower metabolism rate, these fats will stay in our bodies for a very long time.
Slowly, this will contribute to the possibility that we suffer from chronic disease.
Therefore, we need a good amount of fiber, protein and carbohydrates in our breakfast.
Now, here comes another question.
What kind of food is good for our first meal in the day? If you thinking to have a good breakfast, u should include these 3 types of food:
  1. Carbohydrate food with high fiber such as oats and whole wheat bread
  2. Fruits and salads
  3. Tuna /Chicken/Cheese/Eggs/Milks/Yogurts
Breakfast with only fruits and salad will not be good enough as our bodies need to replenish the protein for the cell rebuilding and carbohydrate to make sure that we have enough energy to start our day.
However, breakfast with just protein or carbohydrate will not be good enough as we lose the chance to absorb many other vitamins and mineral that we need.
A good breakfast is a wake up call for our bodies.
So remember do not skip and at the same time, choose your food wisely.
