- 1). Sweep the floor to remove loose dirt and debris.
- 2). Mix the pH-neutral cleaning solution of your choice with an equal amount of water by volume in a spray bottle.
- 3). Spray the solution directly onto a 5-square-foot section of the floor to moisten it.
- 4). Scrub the floor with your scrub brush.
- 5). Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the entire floor is clean.
- 6). Re-fill the spray bottle with fresh water.
- 7). Spray the water directly onto the floor.
- 8). Mop the floor with a sponge mop.
