    • 1). Turn a milk jug so the bottom is up and the handle is away from you. Draw a skeleton face over two sides of the jug with one eye on either side of the corner opposite the handle. Cut the features out with scissors or a craft knife.

    • 2). Hold a second jug right-side up with the handle away from you. Cut out a semi-circle under the jug opening, leaving the opening intact, with a straight line on top and a curve toward the bottom. This is the top of the skeleton's breast bone. Cut two-inch wide horizontal slits on either side of the cut opening, going all the way to the bottom of the jug. These make the skeleton's ribs.

    • 3). Cut the handles off two additional jugs. Use hot glue to attach them to the top of the chest piece as shoulder bones. Use the hole punch to put a hole in the center bottom of each shoulder piece. Cut the spouts off both of these. Glue the spouts, one upside down on top of the other. This will be the skeleton's waist.

    • 4). Use one of the jugs from Step 3 to make the skeleton's hips. Turn the jug upside down. Cut away the top part of the jug leaving the bottom section with 4-inch sides. Cut a curve in the center of two opposite sides. Use a hole punch to make a hole in the center of each of the non-curved sides to attach the legs.

    • 5). Glue the top of the waist piece to the center bottom of the chest piece. Hot glue the top of the hip piece to the bottom of the waist piece. Hot glue the spout of the neck piece to the spout of the chest piece. You now have a skeleton head, attached to a chest with a waist and shoulder bones, attached to hips.

    • 6). Cut dog bone-shaped pieces from the curved corners of three jugs. You will need eight bone shapes, two each for the arms and two for the legs. Use the hole punch to put a hole in the center of each end of each bone. Attach the bones in sets of two with brads. Attach the arms to the holes in the shoulders and the legs to the holes in the hips.

    • 7). Trace your child's hands and feet onto pieces cut from the sides of additional jugs or pieces left from previously cut jugs. Cut these out and punch a hole at the bottom of each palm and in each heel. Attach the hands to the holes in the ends of the arms and the feet to the holes in the ends of the legs, using brads.

    • 8). Use the craft knife to make two small holes in the center of the top of the skeleton's head. Feed the end of a length of fishing line down through one hole and up through the other. Tie the ends together and use this to hang your skeleton.
