How to Remove Stains From Plastic Laminate Cabinet Doors
- 1). Remove most stains by spraying with an all-purpose cleaning product. Wait to allow the full-strength solution to work. Then wipe the cabinet with a damp cleaning cloth. Tea or coffee stains may also require scrubbing with a soft brush.
- 2). Remove dye stains, especially red food dye, with rubbing alcohol. Apply the alcohol with a cloth and wait one minute. Then wipe the spot with a mixture of half white vinegar and half water. Wait one minute before rinsing with plain water on a cloth.
- 3). Remove stubborn ink stains left by food labels or permanent markers by using pine cleaner or all-purpose cleaner at full strength. Rub the cleaner on the stain with a cloth and give it time to work. Rinse the area with a cloth dampened in water. If the stain still shows, clean the stain with denatured alcohol on a cloth and then rinse.
