Hi, I'm T. Cooper, and I'm a makeup artist, hairstylist and co-founder of beauty and grooming company, Metro Look. Today I'm going to show you how to do a high fashion ponytail for thin hair. I've already put my model's hair up into a high ponytail which is very high fashion and right now you can see the hair tie and in high fashion, we don't do that. So what we're going to do to conceal this band, is we're going to take a small section of hair from underneath and we're going to wrap it around that ponytail. Wrap it around as many times as you need to to a, use up all the hair and to b, conceal the hair tie. Then, you take a bobby pin, pin it into place, right into the base and then this is option but I find it works to keep it put, is you just give it a little quick spray just to hold it in place. Then, to make this look a little bit thicker than it is since you are dealing with thin hair, the fastest and easiest way I find to volumize thin hair is with a curling iron. So we're going to use my one inch curling iron and we're just going to take the curling iron, slide it down to the bottom of the hair and then roll it up. This is my technique for curling but what you could also do is take this curling iron and use it like a clipless and wrap the hair around the wand. My model has got long hair so I try to, I tend to keep it on a little bit longer on long hair because it takes a little longer for the hair to heat up and keep touching the hair, once it feels hot, slide it on down and then you've got your curls. You create this process throughout the whole entire ponytail and finger comb through it and then you'll have a fuller looking ponytail. I'm T. Cooper, thank you for watching.
