How to Kill the Black Cat in "MapleStory"

1). Use basic attacks to lower the Black Cat to less than half of its health. Simply press the "Attack" button to hit it with standard physical damage. Save your magic for the second stage of the fight.
2). Use potions and protective magics to prepare yourself for the next half of the battle.
3). Finish the Black Cat off with basic attacks. When the cat dies, it will turn into the Cursed Black Cat, a boss-level beast with much higher health.
4). Use a poison attack or potion to poison the cat.
5). Use fire attacks to damage the cat. Avoid using physical attacks, as they can prompt a counter attack from the Cursed Black Cat; a counter attack will allow the Cursed Black Cat to hit you an additional time in any given round.
6). Use healing potions every time your health gets below the halfway mark to prevent your character from dying. Repeat these tactics until the beast is dead.
