How to Make a Golden Lasso

1). Lay the rope out flat on top of old newspaper.
2). Lightly spray paint the rope gold. Allow the rope to dry for an hour and then turn it over and spray the other side. Continue doing this until all the rope is covered with a light coating of gold spray paint.
3). Tie a "Honda knot" (the knot used in lariats and lassos) into one end of the rope. Start by tying a simple overhand knot at the end of the rope. Pull this knot tight. Tie a second overhand knot 3 to 5 inches from the first. Keep this knot loose. Thread the first knot under and up through the loop of the second knot. You'll see that a second loop has been made: Complete the knot by holding onto the second loop and then pulling the knot tight.
4). Thread the opposite end of the rope through the loop of the "Honda knot." This completes the lasso. Wind the lasso into loose loops to be attached by ribbon, string or whatever you choose to the belt of your costume. The Golden Lasso should sit on the right hip of a Wonder Woman costume.
