How to Remove the Front of a Dryer

    • 1). Unplug the dryer from the wall.

    • 2). Remove the screws that will be found on the rear of the dryer's top panel. Lift up the top panel and pull it off the dryer.

    • 3). Press the tabs that are found on the inside sides of the control panel and pull the control panel off the dryer. Disconnect the control panel's wire harness from the circuit board and set the control panel aside.

    • 4). Remove the screws that secure the dryer's circuit board bracket to extract the circuit board bracket. This is the piece where the circuit board sits.

    • 5). Remove screws from the top of the control bracket, which is the bracket that the control panel snaps onto. Remove the control bracket.

    • 6). Remove the screws at the bottom corners of the bottom front panel. Pull the panel toward you from the bottom and down to remove.

    • 7). Disconnect the door switch and moisture sensor wire harnesses, which are below the right of the dryer drum's underside.

    • 8). Remove the screws at the corners of the front panel and open the dryer door. Remove the mounting screws below the drum opening. Pull the front panel off the dryer.

    • 9). Remove the screws from the bottom left and right corners of the bulk head. Loosen the screws on the top left and right corners of the bulk head. Remove the mounting screw from the blower assembly found at the bottom right of the bulk head. Lift the bulk head up and off the loosened top screws.
